The secluded Lara Beach with its small taverna is just a 10 minute walk across the olive groves. The famous Turtle Beach where you can see turtles hatch from under the sand during September is only 2 miles to the east. There is also a PADI scuba centre located here if you wish to dive.

Vogue Beach Centre, less than ½ mile to the west, features a large pool, restaurant and full watersports facilities, whilst Acapulco Beach Club with its restaurant, changing area, sunbeds and full hotel facilities is only a further ¾ mile further on. There are numerous restaurants in Çatalköy village. The lovely Valley View, just up the road looking out over the sea, serve a delicious local meze.

Just 5 miles away is the beautiful Kyrenia Harbour with its stunning backdrop and numerous restaurants serving unforgettable local and international cuisine.  To fully appreciate this setting, enter the historic Byzantine castle and venture to the top of its fortified walls. Fifteen minutes away, Bellapais Abbey sits in a beautiful traditional village setting overlooking the sea with the mountains providing an impressive backdrop.

After visiting the Abbey and soaking up the views and culture treat yourself to lunch in the Bell Tower Restaurant which is featured in the Daily Mail fine dining supplement.
